Identity
Questioning who you are and who you want to become.
A reflective memoir about identity, ambition, loneliness, and finding your place in the world.
I wrote Broken Boy during a time in my life where I was trying to understand who I really was — while chasing dreams, navigating insecurities, and trying to find where I belonged.
Through travels, conversations, setbacks, and lessons from people I met along the way, I started reflecting on what life was actually teaching me. Writing became a way to process those experiences and summarize the things I had learned so far — about identity, ambition, self-worth, growth, and becoming.
This book became the first honest conversation I had opening up about my thoughts.
Questioning who you are and who you want to become.
Chasing dreams while trying not to lose yourself.
The quiet human desire to find where you fit in.
Turning experiences, setbacks, and lessons into wisdom.
"I spend several hours under my blanket crying. - Why? - Because I wanted to hide from school, from people that didn't like me, from not being comfortable in my own skin. From life.
On the outside everything looked fine. On the inside I felt like a Broken Boy.
A lot has happened since then. When I look in the mirror I dont see the same person anymore. Somehow the world has changed. Or maybe I have changed?!
How did I make it from a small town in Germany to Hollywood?
What is the meaning of life?
How can I be happy?
This is a summary of what I have learned and realized on all my travels, situations and the journey called "life".
-> a summary for you to take shortcuts.
I hope you enjoy! Fabs"
"If this book helps even one person feel less alone in what they’re going through, then writing it was worth it.
We all go through moments where life breaks us a little. My hope is that Broken Boy reminds you that healing, growth, and rebuilding are possible."
