Why storytelling & filmmaking?

Some of the stories that stayed with me the longest were never just entertainment.

Growing up, films like The Lion King, Hercules, Gladiator, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, or Meet Joe Black made me feel something deeper. They weren’t just stories — they carried messages about purpose, loss, courage, identity, love, and what it means to live a meaningful life.

I found myself taking pieces of those stories into my own life.

That’s when I realized: filmmaking and visual storytelling might be one of the deepest forms of storytelling we have. A single scene, image, or line can stay with someone for years. It can shift perspective, inspire action, or simply make someone feel understood.

Stories and visual worlds that make people feel something. Stories that inspire, challenge perspectives, create emotion, and maybe — in some small way — leave people with something meaningful to take into their own lives.

Because sometimes, a story can change the way we see ourselves.
